1) When Dr. Newton walks into the exam room, he has already memorized the data and thus isn't sitting at a computer during the visit. 2) Dr. Newton is cordial, respectful of patient concerns, is clear about next steps. 3) Dr. Newton never makes on feel rushed, because he is so prepared, time isn't lost while he review patient records. 4) Despite the almost purely transactional nature of modern medicine, Dr. Newton clearly tries to develop a rapport with his patients, and it works: I have been his patient for just under 2 years, and I'm very glad that Dr. Alan Shah recommended Dr. Newton.

My friends and I tend to prefer a female doctor. HOWEVER, Dr. Newton is GREAT! Kind, compassionate, remembers me/my health context, shares relevant experiences, doesn't rush me, but also efficient.
