Long wait times in exam room, then very short time spent with patient. Rarely follows up with questions about previous visits unless it is specific followup for a current condition.
Very proactive in his approach to general care and review of medical history.
He is an excellent caregiver
Listens to his patients, has empathy - understands not only medical issues but if there are other issues involved such as financial or schedule time restraints, makes the patient feel comfortable and is very relatable. My husband has been a patient much longer than I and kept telling me to change over to Dr. Tawil and I was hesitant. I am so happy that I did - I have now moved further away but still remain a patient of Dr. Tawil. He is a rare find in the physician world and I'm not taking a chance in looking for another doctor at this time. By the way - let me repeat - he listens to his patient - that one line makes him different from others.
