I came into my appointment feeling anxious wanting to discuss IUDs with my provider and get her opinion on the product for me. Instead of discussing options with me, my provider unfortunately offered me a plethora of reasons why the IUD is not a good option including horrible cramps, irregular bleeding, possible perforation of the uterus, possible ectopic pregnancy, and she finished the list off with and the insertion hurts like child birth. When I asked her what she gave for the pain of the insertion, she said ibuprofen which I found extremely disappointing especially after she had explicitly informed me of the pain severity. She then asked me what about the pill? to which I said no because I wasn't looking for a systemic hormone option and since I have a history of familial breast cancer, past providers have told me I'm contraindicated for the pill option. The whole appointment seemed very rushed and I had wanted to talk through my options with Elizabeth and I even asked her So you think the IUD isn't a good option for me? to which she answered I didn't say that and she then told me it was ultimately my decision she was just providing me with all the information. However, I would argue that her rushed and non-empathetic demeanor, her fast-firing of possible IUD complications, and her ultimate disregard to talk through my options with me caused more harm than I think she realized. I left the appointment crying and extremely anxious about finding birth control option that was right for me, and wondering how I was to figure this out alone without the help of my provider. Because of this experience, I would not recommend her as a provider.

Elizabeth is very kind and professional. She takes her time with her patients and communicates clearly. She made me feel at ease and very comfortable.

I found PA Mancuso professional and well informed. She had obviously looked over my record prior to seeing me, which I appreciate. She was easy to talk to. We talked about some sensitive issues and I was not uncomfortable. She later sent articles on what we has discussed. I am medically knowledgeable and liked that she took the time to discuss. I will continue to follow with her!

She was thorough and explained things well but the exam itself was uncomfortable and she didn't seem experienced in basics like using a speculum without causing pain.
