My optometrist recommended Dr Witzel to me when she detected the presence of glaucoma in both my eyes. I was seeking a treatment other than eye drops to lower my ocular pressure. Dr Witzel was very informative on my initial consultation and suggested the SLT procedure as my best option. He performed the procedure on both eyes. I was thrilled with the results.... both eyes are now in the normal pressure range. He will be monitoring my glaucoma on a regular basis. I had many questions about the disease and the treatments. He took the time to address all my questions. I learned a great deal from him.
