Dr. Schwartz made time in his schedule for me because of a particularly complex situation. I felt comfortable the minute I met him. He was friendly, knowledgeable and thoughtful. He tested for neuropathy and explained everything he was doing. He gave me an honest appraisal of my condition and provided several options for care, and refrained from ordering a painful test that would not have yielded more information. I feel that I was in excellent hands!

Know his stuff

Very nice but not on top of my meds. He thought I was taking a medication that I am not. Another Neurologist prescribed it for me and Dr Schwartz said he thought I was already taking this class of medicine. MyChart clearly indicates I was not.

He is very kind and compassionate. He takes his time to ask his questions and answer mine. He actually seems interested in helping me to receive a better quality of life. He pays attention to my progress and again, genuinely seems to want to help.

Dr. Schwartz was very detailed. I felt like I could ask any question about the EMG. He answered them adequately. He was very clear with the instructions he provided as he ran the tests. He was very conversational and it helped to get me through the process.

Ignored relevant medical history, insisting it's unrelated to current issue. Made no attempt to order tests of any kind to understand the root cause of the issue and made minimal effort to leave me with an adequate care plan.
