Know his stuff
Very nice but not on top of my meds. He thought I was taking a medication that I am not. Another Neurologist prescribed it for me and Dr Schwartz said he thought I was already taking this class of medicine. MyChart clearly indicates I was not.
He is very kind and compassionate. He takes his time to ask his questions and answer mine. He actually seems interested in helping me to receive a better quality of life. He pays attention to my progress and again, genuinely seems to want to help.
Very nice bedside manner and very gentle.
Dr. Schwartz was very detailed. I felt like I could ask any question about the EMG. He answered them adequately. He was very clear with the instructions he provided as he ran the tests. He was very conversational and it helped to get me through the process.
He was excellent, attentive, and took extra steps to ensure that I got the care I needed while working around the fact that Optum no longer takes my insurance.

Ignored relevant medical history, insisting it's unrelated to current issue. Made no attempt to order tests of any kind to understand the root cause of the issue and made minimal effort to leave me with an adequate care plan.
Dr Schwarz was easy to talk with, made me feel comfortable.
He listens and discusses your requirements carefully. He takes the time necessary. He responds rapidly on the my Chart Messages. He makes himself available when needed. He is knowledgeable and has a good bedside manner. He will get into questions at any level that the patient desires.
