I had several interactions with Dr. Shapiro regarding my cataract. He and everyone in the office are capable and caring people. Optum made one of my follow up appointments difficult, but the office staff found an open moment and brought it up with me. As I said before, the care has been excellent. The medical staff is great. The Optum component is sadly lacking in every way.
