Dr. Verhoest surpassed every expectation in the newer field of urogynecology. I knew halfway through my initial appointment consisting of numerous tests & consultations on EACH test that I was in the middle of a life-changing experience. This is NOT an exaggeration by any means. He resolved 7, & I mean SEVEN years of questions that have gone unanswered. The looks of incomprehension from other urologists, PA’s, & primary doctors were now known to ME TO BE THEIR IGNORANCE. Not ME. As I had been led to believe when other physicians had no answer. The phone calls where I described my painful symptoms were hardly understood & sometimes mocked & always resulted in needless antibiotics. Except when I tried to explain that something was truly wrong & I feared a kidney infection & I was DISMISSED, due to my past complaints then Two days I was put in the hospital near death with toxic encephalopathy from sepsis that crossed the blood brain barrier due to an Acute Kidney Infection. I had complained for 2 weeks. My urologist said the pus in my urine was from a cyst. I nearly died because they were ignorant of my cystitis symptoms & doubted me when I complained of kidney infection symptoms. I spent 9 days in the hospital in & out of consciousness. Then 2 months in a care center learning how to use my muscles again. Dr. VerHoest outlined a multi-layered, multifaceted plan which included some homeopathic components & he has adjusted his treatment plan over the last six weeks. So you see, this is not just a simple review. This is a testimony to the power of an underrated field that has taken too long to get here. But more importantly, it is successful because of the brilliance & personal dedication of Dr. Verhoest who has demonstrated the will & conviction to make every minite with his patient count. & in my case make a life-changing difference.

Dr. Verhoest is an an excellent doctor. I've been seeing him for more than 20 years. He listens to my questions and addresses my concerns.

He performed surgery on me in 2017 and did a great job. My visits with him are always pleasant, and I feel he is very knowledgeable, compassionate, and makes me feel very comfortable.

Dr Verhoest put me on medication that relieved my extreme pain and need to empty my bladder every 5 minutes. It was a miracle. No one else could help me the way he did.
