I saw Dr. Nyange once and scheduled a follow up visit. However her office called me and canceled my appointment. They said that they had ONE opening for an appointment they could reschedule me for, and that if I didn’t take it I’d have to wait 2 more months to be seen. So I took the appointment even though the date was inconvenient for me. The day of the appointment I left work early to get there on time but I hit traffic on my way there and called to let them know that I was running ten minutes late. They said that they needed to cancel my appointment because “no one would be there when I got there.” I explained to them that I was only going to be 10 minutes late and I had been waiting months to do one specific test that a nurse administers. They said not to bother coming upstairs because they canceled the appointment. I asked if they could still do that test that day since the doctor wasn’t the one administering the test. They said a doctor needed to be there anyway. I asked if I could be seen by a different doctor. They said most doctors would be gone for the day. At 3:45 might I add. What kind of doctors office has no staff there at 3:45, does the office close at 3:45? Because that's not what it says online. Their solution was to reschedule me for another day…and magically they had several appointments available on other days that week. But like I explained to them, since I left work early for the appointment they gave me, I couldn’t just leave work early again the next day. I would have appreciated it if they had offered me all of these choices when they initially canceled my appointment. I also would’ve appreciated some grace for being 10 minutes late. Instead I drove all the way there just to turn around because I was 10 minutes late. And just for reference, when I came for my first visit I waited over an hour to be seen. I ended up having to reschedule again, for a third time, and I had to take an entire day off of work to make the only appointment the following week. The staff was completely unapologetic and lied about whether there’s an office manager or not. Three staff members said there was an office manager, and kept telling me she'd call me. There isn't an office manager. I obviously won’t be returning. They also completely messed up the orders for the tests I needed and no one had any idea what was going on. It was complete chaos.
