She lacked any sense of compassion or empathy. She disregarded anything I had to say about why I was there simply based on numbers on a paper. I was referred to the doctor she is NP for as I was told that physician was great. So I was hoping to find the NP to be just as good and she was one of the most disregarding physicians I have met.

Carisa Fick, NP, is a nurse practitioner specializing in hematology and oncology. Her clinical interests include patient education, health care disparities and evidence-based medicine.
