This was my initial meeting, consult, with Dr Rodriguez De Armas, as she appears to be very knowledgeable in her field, I did find it hard at times during my visit, to understand her, as she has a very thick Cuban accent and she tends to speak rather fast. Before she had come into the room, the nurse, Anthony did make me aware of her hick Cuban accent and tendency to speak rather quickly and suggested that if I didn't understand her response or needed her to repeat, to do so. As this was a first meet with Dr Rodriguez De Armas, I will refrain from further comment, allowing us to get to know one another. I find it very important to make a connection with your doctor, working as a team, if I find it is not a good fit, I will request another Cardiologist. After all, this is about my heart, and I need to feel comfortable and confident with my doctor and staff.
