Lissette Rodriguez De Armas, MD

Dr. Rodriguez has been my wife's Primary Cordiologist for the past 4 or 5 years. When I was referred to a cardiologist, immediately, I asked for Dr. Rodriguez. Unfortunately, SWM does not have many cardiologists. The doctor was booked and I needed a clearance for a kidney transplant. I was assigned a different doctor, whom I saw once. But as soon as I had the opportunity to switch to Dr. Rodriguez, I immediately took the appointment even if I had to wait a long time. She is gentle, and calm. Her best natural quality is that she listens to her patients and lets us know when the issues are beyond what she is able to do for us. I like her honesty, and willingness to get us the best treatment. (Sometimes, it depends on the insurance) I am certain that she will do the best to do so. I really hope she stays for a long time.

Very good bedside manners. Very optimistic but I didn't fully get the information from her regarding current condition and possible next steps. I left thinking there was no issue but when I actually compared my 2 CTA scans from 2022 and 2025, I noticed a noticeable progression. As such, we didn't get to talk about targets, goals and next steps. But we are in contact again now and hope this will be resolved.

Amazing care taken, took the time to address my concerns, very thorough with my next steps, showed compassion for my worries, made me feel understood and more than just another patient. I felt safe under her care.

Dr Rodriguez is very knowledgeable. I appreciate her taking the time to sit with me and explain my health & wrote out how to take my medicines!

This is NOT just that I felt this way ... it is a FACT that I was rushed through my visit and Did Not get the time I needed to have ALL of my questions answered.

I only saw her for a few minutes, so I do not have a strong opinion one way or another.

Accommodating and concern to your feeling

Extremely rude bedside manner. Insisted a blind & hearing impaired patient could not live alone. That is not a basis for determining whether someone can live safely alone. Doctor was pointing fingers at me and speaking very loudly and treating me like I had an IQ of 0. Very unprofessional behavior. I hope I never have to see her again.

Dr. L. Rodriguez De Armas seemed rushed and was in a hurry to consult with me. She speaks too fast and it's hard to understand her English.

I feel she was rushed seeing me. I felt no compassion and did not listen to concerns much.
