Dr. Morton has been my PCP for about 10 years and has always been courteous and thorough with me. And, as I get older ([omitted]), he’s still patient with me when explaining meds, procedures or treatments for my various ailments! My only qualm is that he might retire before I don’t need him anymore!

Because we were discussing my medication from Optum RX and I told him that they have bombarded me with a lot of metformin atorvastatin and some of my other medication’s in some cases like metformin. I had over 10 bottles and he seemed to get upset because he said you should be taking your medicine. I told him I’d take my medicine but I don’t need to be bombarded with medication and when I decide to withdraw from Auto refill, he seemed to get upset and said don’t worry about your medication you don’t pay for it and I told him but I don’t need 10 bottles of metformin inside my bathroom. He said we’ll throw them away. He said well throw them away. Give them to your dog. I don’t have a dog but anyway I just didn’t like his remark. That’s the first time he ever did something like that. told me if I don’t take my medicine, I’ll get a black mark and he’ll get a black mark.
