I have had some excellent doctors over the years, but Dr. Purviance is by far the best ever. He balances common sense with attention to medical data to provide care that is appropriate for the situation. In other words, I am not subjected to unnecessary procedures or referrals in an abundance of caution, but I get the procedures or referrals when they are needed. Dr. Purviance works with me in a collaborative manner by knowing my history and medical issues before he walks into the room. And then, while he is very busy now, he still listens to me and my concerns every single time. He responds to my questions on the portal.
