Dr. Melvin has been my primary for over 25 years. Once he gets to you given Optum's cramped schedule he is great. i had to wait 2 hours past my appointment time because Optum doesn't care about the patients need only the money. Dr Melvin on the other hand cares for each patient and gives them the time needed to understand and discuss the issue. they came to him for.

reviews labs, treatment plans very well with the patient. Waiting for him to see you is another thing. I arrived for my 9:15 am appointment at 9:00. I saw Dr. Melvin Romero at 10:38 am when he walked into the exam room. My time is just as important as his time is. At other times I have been his first patient at 8:00 am scheduled appointment. He arrives at the office at 9:00 am. This is not an acceptable practice to arrive late.
