She listened well and provided the help I needed. However, when I needed help with bloodwork for a CT scan she ordered I sent two messages in My Chart and calling the office. 4 days later and I have gotten no response.

Dr. Patel is excellent. I wish she was at the Rio Rancho site everyday of the week so that it is easier to get an appointment with her. I do not understand why Optum has such a hard time listening to their patients and the needs of those patients, and the first thing we need are doctors and staff that are available sooner than later because waiting over 6 months for an appointment is not very good at all. I love Dr. Patel. I have loved all my PCPs, including those who have left because of the situation that Optum provides at our Rio Rancho facility. It's very sad that the needs of the patients do not seem to come first and that has been going on ever since Dr. Sandra Smith left your practice. Another excellent doctor that was lost to every single patient that loved her. I hope you will find a way to have Dr. Patel at the Rio Rancho Clinic more often and I hope Alma can once again be her Medical Assistant. Alma is excellent at her job.
