I felt that my last appointment could have been handled with messages through the portal. No blood work was done (too early), and the only thing we talked about was how I was handling my new medication. Also, Deven is listed in BCBS as a specialist. The clinic has known about this for over 2 months, but nothing has been updated in BCBS (I have reported it to them, but the changes must come from the clinic. This costs me more when I see her.

I was happy with Devon Waller. She is comfortable. I don't understand if this is my annual check up why my blood pressure was not taken or my heart was not listened too. I brought up my concerns about my health and didn't get any answers. I am [omitted] and my husband has Parkinson's Disease & my last year has been very stressful. Is this the what I should expect at my age for a check up? When I asked about these two tests not done I was told that I had them done last year. I liked Devon Waller but what I experienced was a meet & greet not a discussion of my health.

I went to get a prescription refill and during the exam I asked if she could put in paperwork so I could have blood tests for my annual physical. She stated that the exam was only for a prescription refill and if I wanted a physical exam and blood work, I would have to set up a separate appointment. Optum continually does this to patients and it is extremely frustrating. They make me set up an appointment every year to get my prescription refilled even though I have been on the same medication for many years.
