She has a an extremely professional, relaxing presence upon first meeting her She seems to have strong work experience and education that causes me to have confidence in her as a primary care provider. I believe it is important for each individual to take an active part in maintaining good health and think Carrie in an ideal provider to assist me in that.

She took care of issues that no one else helped me with ever since my primary care physician, Dr. Castillo became ill and had to leave the office. There was NO medical person available for me for months... My only way of contacting Optum was by calling the number to make an appointment. Those people were cordial, but did not have the ability to help me. The PA whom I was assigned to did not take the time to check into my records from my last appointment with Dr. Castillo. And then, she left Optum. The portal was useless. It was a struggle to get settled with a new primary care taker. I ran out of a much needed prescription after contacting Optum for weeks trying to get it refilled. I hope Carrie Ritchie stays with Optum as she was patient, listened, understood and took care of things that had been neglected for a long period of time. She represented Optum better than anyone else I've worked with there.
