Her attention and how she cares is well appreciated.

Dr. Mathew is an excellent pediatrician! She is reachable via email, call, and in person visits. All of the children in my family see her and love her! We appreciate her compassion and expertise.

Mely Mathew was not unpleasant but also not exceptional in any form. She was not very nice or very pleasant. She did not go out of her way to make me feel that she is a great doctor. The short amount of time she was with us in the exam room it felt rushed. We came from my children’s pediatrician since birth, she retired unexpectedly and we came to Optum. In comparison, Dr. Mathew seems more professional and less empathetic.

Dr. Mely Mathew did not provide appropriate care when my son had a severe cold and cough. She prescribed only sore throat medication, and his condition worsened to fever and vomiting. Despite multiple messages and even customer service trying to reach her she never responded.
