Great doctor, listen patiently, recommends great method at home that work with the medicine prescribe, takes time with patient and listen proactively, inquires about other factors that can be affecting the patients health making her diagnostic an umbrella of different possibilities and recommend the best specialist to follow up

She is wonderful to work with and easy to discuss things with, however in my case I feel that beyond the initial first few visits she favors a patient led discovery process for issues and care approaches. There does not seem to be a penchant for diagnosing and offering treatment opportunities to address the issues. Anyone can look at a blood test and say everything looks good because things are in range, what I don’t seem to get is someone that looks beyond and seeks out potential triggers or root cause. As an example, when I experienced bad lower leg cramps at night I had to ask if there were tests or bloodwork we should consider. The response was yes we can test magnesium and B12 to address the fatigue, when those tests came back fine it seemed someone deemed that the end of the discussion. When I asked if the fatigue could be caused by low iron, she had blood testing done which showed issues ultimately resulting in a referral to see a hematologist after failed iron supplementation via oral iron.
