It's our understanding that Dr. Poe is semi-retired and only does Medicare Well Checks and after hospital follow-ups. We felt Dr. Poe was very thorough! A few days after our appointments, he called to follow-up with both of us, especially my husband's medicines. He asked us to follow-up with the specialists for the meds he questioned. He was never rushed or acted like he needed to be doing something else. Since it's hard to reschedule with Dr. Tolliver on a short notice (we've had to do this twice due to family funerals, and have to see a different doctor), we were very pleased to be seen by and cared for by Dr. Poe.

I realize that Dr. Poe is only there on a temporary basis but I have been seeing him since 1986 and like him very much and think he is a good physician. Hate to see that he is retiring!!!
