I am sure that Dr Clingman is an Ok doctor but after my visit with him I do not feel secure seeing him as a patient so I would not recommend him either

He is a very thorough and very compassionate physician. He is concerned about the whole patient. He works well with other doctors that I am currently dealing with for my blood pressure and heart problems.

No knowledge of previous and current situation

He explains everything but he is very cocky about things. As in why do u need to be on this medication and well that’s not for that or we are going to do labs to see if u need to be on it. Also, I explained that I needed a prior authorization for a medication and he didn’t listen to me. I have to call in again and explain to the receptionist and probably be told I have to be put on hold again. I just don’t seems to like him and think I might change doctors!!

About Stephen Clingman, MD
Dr. Clingman grew up in Ohio as the oldest of 4 children. His mother was a nurse, his uncle was a paramedic, and another uncle is a dentist. So he comes from a medical family. His two brothers are Nurse Practioners, and his sister is a Laboratory Technician. He has been married for 25 years to a Nurse. He and his wife have 4 grown children, two of whom have autism, so he knows the struggles of living with a child with special needs. He loves to read, play video games and role-playing games.

I strive to work with patients to achieve the healthiest life for them. I work with my patient to understand their health and how to maintain it and improve it. I listen to their concerns and work hard to address them. I work to empower patients to care for themselves.
