Friendly and knowledgeable Took time to listen to me

Dr Wooten cared for both my parents before they passed. She is now my doctor and I recently switched my son to her care after he turned [omitted]. She is very knowledgeable and kind. She takes the time to answer questions and explains things in a manner that I can understand. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a new physician.

She just looks at her computer. I miss having a doctor listen to my heart and lungs. They used to check your ears and throat. I had to ask her to listen to my heart. It was a good thing I did because she heard a heart murmur.

She is very thorough. She never makes me feel rushed. She takes time for all my questions. Great doctor, very compassionate!

Labs were bad and 3 week old. She said i was likely to have a stroke but didn't attempt to do anything prior to appt, my cardiologist did reach out 2 days after results to start a new medication and schedule an appt. Nothing she can due with sugar high will provide referral for endocrinology. Asked if i was medication compliant, I'm not. Her statement was i need to take medication every day, she didn't need to see me for a year and proceeded to instruct me to check out. She didn't ask why i wasn't compliant. Not having money to fill all medication, working night shift & dayshift doesn't make it easy. Per my insurance a visit with Candice Wooten should be billed at $174 but was billed $453.02.

Excellent doctor

When I go in for 6 mo check up she doesn’t even lay hands on me. she doesn’t listen to my chest or check my ears or throat.
