    Amanda was the first person who actually sat and listened to my problems. I am very thankful for her. I didn’t feel rushed to get in and out of the room like I have in other past experiences. It was one of the best experiences I have had within a medical facility. I appreciate her more than she knows.

    Amanda was raised in Southern Indiana. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Indiana University Southeast. After graduation she worked as a Mother Baby nurse for several years. She loved taking care of families but realized that she wanted more continuity with her patients. She decided to advance her education and become a family nurse practitioner. She went on to get her Master of Science in nursing from Spalding University.

    As a family nurse practitioner, my philosophy of care is to provide individualized patient centered care with an emphasis on health promotion and disease prevention.
