Knowledge, experience and expertise of Dr Coats are very impressive

Dr. Coats is very personable and easy to talk to. He listens before he decides what course of action is needed for my issue. I always leave feeling that I got just what was necessary. I feel like he helps me protect my quality of life.

He did an awesome job on both my hands with the first surgery. So wanted Dr Coates to take care of my upcoming surgeries. Truly trust him. Plus he left no scars

I felt he didn't have a desire to listen to me and try to understand my concerns. He was more interested in offering an injection to ease pain than try to find the root cause of the pain. He did not want to request an MRI to determine a cause for the pain. Due to my age, he made an assumption for the pain.

I enjoyed my 10 minute appointment to schedule my surgery, but he hasn't actually done anything yet. Ask me again after the surgery.

I think he is very courteous and competent; his locations are not convenient for me; I wish it had been made clear on my 1st visit that therapy should not commence until after a follow-up - I received insurance authorization and hence commenced therapy too early, which inhibited healing

Dr Coats was very thorough going over the concerns and options. He listened to me and my concerns.

I'm sure Dr Coates is a great surgeon. But not very informative about medications post-op exercises. I kind of felt like he had one put out the door when I had questions. Not very specific post-op directions

Tells it like it is, gentle with injections.
