Knowledgeable and polite

I only had 1 appointment with Elana I felt she was somewhat abrupt. She didn't seem to know my history although I've been a patient for 8 years. She didn't discuss a recent blood test and said she wanted to start a treatment plan from a clean slate and ordered a new blood test. I have a follow up appointment and will see how things develop.

She was kind, courteous and knowledgeable.

This was supposed to be my first appointment with a new provider here, as well as the visit to go over and update my accommodation paperwork for work - paperwork that my previous provider, Kellie Reed, had completed for me with care and understanding. Instead, Elena Aleman focused entirely on the accommodation form and the fact that she didn’t know me, refusing to fill it out and refusing to discuss anything else. She was cold, dismissive, and showed no compassion or willingness to listen or help. I left the appointment feeling humiliated and hopeless. This was the complete opposite of my experience with Kellie Reed, NP, who was empathetic, patient, and took time to understand my situation. I wish all providers showed that same level of compassion and professionalism.
