She is very good and caring while allowing the patient to be a party of health care process rather than simply a recipient. She explains her perspective and imports information to allow the patient to make informed decisions.

She's very comfortable to talk to and truly seems to care about my concerns. She works well with me on my issues.

Dr. Holland rapport was cordial with me. She just seems to have a heavy load for the few days she is available at that location.

Although I Love Dr. Holland, I do not reccommend any person or business to anyone....they need to find the person or business that fits their likes and needs. I have made recommendations in the past and most people did not agree with me ....that's why I don't do it any more.

I realize that my highly positive ratings throughout the organization may cause these responses on Dr. Holland to actually be looked upon as no better than the rest. There needs to be an exceptional rating n Dr. Holland's case. I have been a patient at WellMed Bayside since relocating to Tampa for career reasons. In the intervening years, I have visited with probably 6 or 8 primary care providers at WellMed, both physicians and NPs. I've not been disappointed by any (except one), but Dr. Holland has been the clinician who has had the clearest sense of my medical needs (which I believe and likely not complex). Beyond that, I am greatly satisfied that she believes in a team approach of WellMed staff and patient. I am clearly a partner in caring for myself, motivated to make strong choices in those elements of care that I can control (like diet, fitness, awareness, and complete attention to following through on any medications with exact timeliness). But what I get in return is a strong sense of encouragement and confidence from Dr. Holland. That is a value added in primary medical care. It may be a corporate value for WellMed/Optum, but it is clearly a personal value of this excellent physician. Unlike many, she is not the technician writing scripts and dispensing advice; she is a creative and caring partner in inspiring her patients to better health. Bravo Dr. Holland!
