I am hard of hearing and wear hearing aids. I had a very hard time understanding Dr. Chang when he spoke to me, particularly since he was wearing a mask. I turned my hearing aid volume up, and asked him to repeat things several times. Despite these efforts, I think I missed most of what he said to me. Also, he prescribed medications for me but never told me what my diagnosis was (at least not that I heard). I had to ask the nurse for that information when she came in after the exam. Also, he never asked me if I had any questions - he just got up and left the examination room, and I did not know if he was coming back or not. Then the nurse came in, so it became clear he was not coming back. I had to ask her what the diagnosis was (as noted above), and also asked her my other question, which was whether I was contagious and, if so, for how long. She had to ask Dr. Chang that question after I had left the office, and she called me with the answer while I was driving home.

I had a last minute emergency, and he was able to get me fixed up on time. My [omitted]was getting[omitted] and [omitted] before the [omitted], I somehow pinched a nerve in my left leg. I was so worried I would not be able to do our[omitted] dance at her[omitted]. Dr. Chang met with me (virtually) and provided the necessary prescriptions right away, he said he will make sure I can do the dance. And I did. By the day of the [omitted], the pain was completely gone. I was so thankful.

Dr Chang is a very caring doctor go's over everything with me all my blood work and explain test results.

Dr. Chang was very attentive to my needs and asked all the questions that he required to provide a good diagnosis of my current situation. I was sent to another Dr. where I am now going through the process of getting a full colonoscopy in order to look at my whole stomach to find the reason for the bleeding. This is a reoccurring issue and I hope that this time will be the time that the issues are found and resolved.

I have moved to another city but I will continue to go to this doctor as he has always taken care of me 100 per cent and I do not want to find another doctor as it is hard to find a doctor like him.

Again, I don't recommend unless specifically asked by a friend, which is not likely, however, if asked about Dr. Chang, I would give him a 10 because he's been my doctor for years, he's very thorough, I think he's a good person, and I'm grateful to have him.

He is very thorough and knowledgeable. He treated my pneumonia last summer better than the hospital and made sure I was able to see him for follow-ups. I told him he was my best friend! I trust Dr. Chang and feel he is an excellent doctor. He spends time with me.
