Appeared about my foot injury and was very good at answering questions. Very informative. Even helped me get through door and back out to waiting room

I was given blood test labs. I had to go to 3 different labs to get a blood culture. I was NEVER contacted again by this doctor, despite contacting Optum every day, due to a skin situation I was having. The lab had sent my results and they never shared them with me. without me calling daily, I still wouldn't know if I was clear or not. the doctor sent over a test result for negative results. no explanation of WHY my skin had blisters and such. antibiotics I was prescribed has now given me a rash from allergic reaction (i've never been allergic to antiobiotics) this doctor nor his office ever even followed up with me. I drove to WOODLAND PARK to see another provider for my rash. super disappointed. I really LIKED Dr. Caulkins in my in person visit, but my condition WORSENED. my primary doctor even messaged me on the portal about this several times, but NO follow up from Dr. Caulkins or his office. And I'm not sure that it wasn't because the person that answered my phone call questions didn't relay it correctly or what. They couldn't even give me a number to the lab where I could CALL MYSELF to get my results and kept lying saying the results weren't sent to them.

Dr. Caulkins is patient, kind, and very thorough in his approach to patient care.

He listened to me and checked routinely to make sure he had addressed my concerns. He was patient and didn't make me feel he had to rush to the next patient. He was down to earth and showed compassion.

He is very knowledgeable and he makes sure you understand his diagnosis. Always asks if there is anything else I need.

I had felt over the years that I was being pushed into taking Statin medications for my high cholesterol. My last visit, he suggested a non-statin drug. I had asked if this was a new drug and he said it had been around for awhile. Knowing my reluctance to take a statin, because of the bad side affects, would have been more welcoming for this different med, Zetia (a non statin drug). I also asked for and received a more natural thyroid medicine. I am very grateful for this.
