Rita Redd, MD

Dr. Redd was efficient during my appointment. She walked in, introduced herself and asked when my last physical was, when I last visited an optometrist, when my last cycle was and any family history of medical concerns. She then checked my heart rate, ears, breathing and shared she would order labs to check for diabetes and other concerns. The visit with her was very short and straight to the point. There was no discussion about BMI, weight concerns, fitness levels (as I am currently injured from a tennis tournament) and generally no rapport building. However, she documented in her notes that this was discussed. I requested an STI/STD panel in addition to what she ordered and I submitted a urine and blood sample. I received a MyChart message from her staff indicating that two of the labs are negative. I requested for more information about my other results (as none of the other labs have been uploaded and it has now been over a week) and was told that I have prediabetes. This information was relayed to me because I requested it, not on their own accord. This is not the standard practice that I am used to in healthcare settings. I will not be returning.

Rita Redd is attentive to my needs as her patient. She is kind and courteous

She made me feel like an inconvenience - she asked about one thing, didn't even look at it, and left the room. I assumed she was coming back, as she never gave any indication that she wouldn't be (goodbye, it was nice to meet you, anything else you need before I go? - none of that). She never asked about any of my other concerns, my overall health, or anything else.

Very good but needs to be more on top of getting people scheduled for their follow up appointments better so they don’t run out of their prescriptions and then they are in crisis.

Very dismissive attitude. No follow up regarding concerns or questions on phone or messaging center. No inspection of areas that are concerning during appointments, just conducting of standard lung and ear check

I think the world of Dr Redd. I’ve recommended her a few times but the deal is if I need a visit at the same time I go first 😁. She never has me leave wondering what’s next. I always feel satisfied with all she tells me when I leave. I really appreciate Dr. Redd. She is to always work from the [omitted]office.

Not listening, not explaining, no follow through, the physician 'God attitude. Not honest, no compassion, no sign of caring. Snipe attitude

She listens and to how you feel and then goes over with you of what she thinks in you work together to make you better she’s an amazing doctor. I love everybody at the clinic.

Very knowledgeable

Dr. Redd is very knowledgeable and cares about her patients.

She's good when she's in a good mood, other times it seems like she just wants to get it over with and will not listen to all of your symptoms or provide the correct planning or treatment or explain why she is doing what she is doing when she does find a treatment plan.

Dr. Redd was very thorough, patiently answered questions and went above & beyond to make certain I understood what I needed in order to avoid delay in my upcoming surgery.
