I don't know if the overall shitshow of our US healthcare system is slowly grinding her down, or whether she was just having a bad day, or whether she doesn't like telehealth, or a combination of all three, but it really didn't feel like she cared at all about anything I said. She sounded very rushed and brusque. And I get it, people have bad days, so I try not to let it get to me. And quite honestly, I think part of the problem here is that you big healthcare corporations have taken all of the *care* out of healthcare. You get into a doctor appt and it's give me your symptoms so I can give you your test referrals or your prescription and get out so I can move on. There was a time when doctors actually had relationships with their patients, where they could take 5 minutes to just chat about life in general, and that is just gone.
