He forgets to get things done referral Rx Lab results etc there is no follow up

He is professional and works hard to make sure he understands your concerns and problems and works to make things happen and recommends using the portal if we feel our problems aren't being addressed through regular channels.

I highly recommend Dr. Mathew Moore. He is very professional, attentive, and truly cares about his patients. I feel grateful to have him as my family doctor and trust him completely with my health.

He was very cold and condescending. All I was was a fat person to fix not a whole person to have compassion for and to see how there is more to me than my weight. The medication he prescribed was not well suited for my history and for my life as a whole. Am pursuing other routes to get the same results. On the opposite side, my husband went to see him for the first time as well and left without the medication he feels like really helps him. He was given this vague instruction to come back in a couple months without any follow-up resolution (Dr. Moore said he was going to recommend a different kind of GLP-1 but so far he hasn't done anything that I know of). We were both left with the impression of a very cold clinician who wouldn't extend compassion and any particular whole body care, which is why I wanted a DO in the first place.

Seemed interested in me as a patient even though my reason for this visit was minor.

Rating of 6 due to location only. It’s impossible to get into see Dr Amy Owen, so, I’ve had to see Dr Moore a few times. I would not recommend him to anyone. He always seems scatter brained, forgets things (such as sending in prescriptions, referrals), doesn’t do after visit summaries, doesn’t respond back to patients when asked questions through portal, doesn’t really seem to care about his patients. I had to call 3 times over a 6 business day period as I wanted to allow time for him to respond or for someone to get my questions answered as he never responded back after sending me a message about my labs stating he recommended me seeing a cardiologist. I should not have to be the one to chase him down to get my questions, medication and referrals done. Having to call 3 times to get this resolved is unacceptable, unprofessional and unethical. I have been going to Optum for numerous years and never encountered these problems with any Dr or PA I saw. I was told by his RN, that he does not do after visit summaries, which in my opinion is part of his job. He did do 2 of them when I first saw him, now he is just being lazy. Those after visit summaries are important to patients and others who I may need to see in relation to that visit. His MA also did not update my medications correctly nor did she remove what I’m not taking anymore. I stated this as well in a message to him on Jan 31st and they still aren’t updated correctly. I specifically listed what to remove and what to add. Again, pure laziness and neglect from Dr Moore and his MA. I most likely will not be seeing him anymore.

Dr Moore is thorough with my history and recommends added testing when necessary and we communicate through the portal which is so helpful in ordering medications and set up appointments

Dr. Moore didn't rush me though he put thought into the exam to come up with the correct reason for my pain and solutions to help reduce the pain. And was easy to e-mail.

I was very impressed with Dr. Moore. He was very business like; however very compassionate @ the same time. Told me about new medicine & to call him after 7 days if medicine didn't seem to work. Very impressed...

I like Dr Moore

Dr. Moore was attentive and listened to our questions. He was able to give us what course we needed to take care of our health and followed up when needed! He was very professional in his endeavors! I would highly recommend him!

Like his no nonsense approach

i do not recommend health care providers to others.

He seems to be a very good Doctor, he's informed and explains things in detail. I've only had a couple of appointments to date but feel comfortable going to see him in the future.

He made me feel like I was wasting his time. He was frustrated with the request for a referral based off of hospital discharge paperwork- I had to show him my after visit summary from my oncologist and he begrudgingly agreed to a referral. I didn’t feel as if he cared about me as a person at all.
