I went in to transfer my care and a med refill. As Julie reviewed my card she noticed that my lab showed that my cholesterol has been high. This is something I’ve been told for about 18 years. However, Julie went more in depth with what this means, ways to help, and started me on a medication for it. I really appreciated the extra steps. I’m curious to see what my next labs look like because knowing that I had high cholesterol, but not knowing if I should be worried about it has always been something in the back of my mind that bothered me.

I felt like she listened in the appointment, had a plan, but to never hear back & it doesn't have to be the provider, I've worked triage in clinics, there are some results medical assts are allowed to convey...even to say she didn't know what to say, but perhaps offer something...see GI, spine, something....
