He seemed uninformed about a sign of diabetes that I mentioned because i had seen him for a sinus infection and one of my big toes had turned black, he said he hadnt heard that and said maybe I should be the doctor and asked who I heard it from and I told him that Dr. Dawn Roberts was my pcp for many years and had mentioned that my toe nails turning black or yellow may be a sign of diabetes as at that time she had said I was prediabetic. He also called in medication twice that was related to prednisone even after I told him I was highly allergic. The pharmacist said she didnt feel comfortable filling either one.

He's thorough. He's knowledgeable and is great about sharing that knowledge and latest research with his patients in an understandable way. I don't feel like he's rushed when I see him; he takes time to answer all my questions. I had a question about self-paying for a drug, and he took the time to look up the cost online, so I could make a decision about it.

Dr Siem, during my appointment, advised that I was out of time when I requested he examine a symptom I was experiencing. Due to this, I was sent home with an inadequate treatment plan and subsequently hospitalized 2 days after my appointment.

Doesn't have time to discuss alternate treatment or issues that could contribute to patient conditions.
