I learned more from him than the hospital

In-person visits are fine but I have trouble getting answers via phone. I have to explain my problem or symptoms to a receptionist who then relays the info to medical staff. Medical staff doesn’t call me back, so I have to call again (sometimes multiple times). When I do get a call-back it is from a receptionist who reads the answer to me from staff notes. This doesn’t help when I need further explanation or clarification and the receptionist is not a medical person.

He was very professional, courteous, and answered questions I asked.

This was my first visit. He seemed to listen to my concerns and explain possible reasons. His staff got me on the schedule quickly for the next procedure.

I have been a patient with Optum for many years and have always received oustanding care from the Drs and staff prior to my last visit with Benjamin Hicks. He was rude, argumentative and disrepectful toward me. I have never been treated like this by any Dr, PA or staff anywhere. This man needs to seriously consider a different line of work.

He seems concerned about me as a patient and he always explains things in detail. He doesn’t act like he’s better than me or smarter. He’s also very nice and patient.

He was very easy to talk to, listened to my concerns/complaints and explained everything in detail so that I could understand what the problem was and the treatment options.

Poor diagnosis and follow through towards resolution

He answered all my questions and listened to my concerns. He was pleasant and kind.

Overtalked me, said he did not believe me about the year I have been trying to get the order for a portable O2 concentrator. He is not one I trust nor would ever use again.

He's good but no information about the sleep test he recommended has been left on my phone thru voice message so still spending money on oxygen I can't afford or use
