She raises her voice when speaking but is very effiecient. Needs to accept when and if the patient truly wants to do more with his/her health. Other than that she is very clear on providing care.

She has no clue why I'm there. She's always 30 to 45 min. late even where I'm the only patient. Demands I see another Cardiologist when I'm in the cardiologist waiting room and he's my cardiologist. Wants to write prescriptions for cardiology when it's not what the cardiologist wants. She doesn't even know why there to review blood test she sent me to get. For release for surgery of Urology.

This time I felt a bit like I was getting reprimanded for not being able to exercise. I want to lose weight and this is what I came in for, but I am being to told to push through it. The pain accompanies exercise due to the fact that I have fibromyalgia. I try to explain to Richelle that if I push through it, I end up laid out for the next couple of days. I was told to do cardio, when I went to my arthritis doctor two days later I cried in his office because I was explaining what occurred and how I feel like a failure. I know Richelle means well, but to me it seems like she does not know people that have this infliction and mind you I was just diagnosis this year, but have been suffering for over 10 years [omitted]. My arthritis doctor informed me not to listen to her advise, because I can end up hurting myself if I do cardio, that is the worst thing I can do. I do yoga and he encouraged me to continue with this. I really hope Richelle reads up more on fibromyalgia, because honesty I've been in pain for years and the funny thing is that I have been going to this office for over 10 years and each time I report the pain and this is document in almost all of my visits, because I do have documentation that dates back that far in my file. When I was diagnosed this year, I looked back on my records and there it reads on most visit, patient reports pain in her back, or client reports pain in joints. My last doctor with the practice was Dr. Tran who told me lose weight and you might stop hurting. Caroline was great and listened and so does Richelle, she is really great, but this experience just has me overwhelmed with my own failure. I never understood why I would be hurting so much after exercising and literally unable to walk, now I know and it wasn't in my head. I can't just push through it, I have to do things slowly, not to mention I also have over extension on all my joints, which puts me in a category of those that are limited on what we can and can not do and will end up hurting ourselves more due to over extension of the joints per my arthritis doctor. By no means am I trying to justify not exercising cause I want to, need to and will eventually in my mind will be able to, but I can't just push through it. Rant over, Richelle is a good physician and I would recommend her and have recommended her to my friends and family, but I feel more information is needed before telling a patient o just push through it.
