He is always very knowledgeable, listens well and explains in detail my condition and recommended treatment while being collaborative and respectful of my ideas. He acts as my Health Coach and is invested in my optimal health.

I am a [omitted] female with charcot marie tooth, peripheral neuropathy, autonomic neuropathy, pelvic floor dysfunction, scleroderma, and I am very weak. I walked in with requests for my specialists to continue care. I was told by Dr. Kleven that I will need to wait until my 3 month visit to receive the others. The reason? He didn't want to upset the girls in the referral department. I didn't know what to say. It was like being shamed for needing care. I brought up this tension in my body, in my torso, that is very uncomfortable. Combined with the autonomic neuropathy, it feels like a panic attack, but I have no thoughts of panic. I hadn't brought it up to anyone before. I imagined something endocrine. He expressed distaste with not being able to understand my concerns. That's where I lost my remaining referrals, I suspect. He never mentioned the medication I am on, nor did the office express interest in continuing the prescriptions, all of which are appropriate for a PCP to order. I am still using my old prescriptions.

It's wonderful to be back seeing Dr Kleven through my senior years after my retirement. I always got excellent health care from Dr Kleven.

After 9 months of coughing and nobody able to determine the exact cause Dr Klevin walked in said I hear you have been coughing for 9 months. He told me to stop my blood pressure meds immediately and within 3 days tge coughing had stopped.
