I felt rushed with her. She did not really know my history, which was necessary for the main reason I was there. We didn't discuss anything about my medication in terms of changes that might help. Her answer was simply to change my diet and take my meds. But she refused to refill my short acting insulin. My original diagnosis is latent autoimmune diabetes in adults (LADA) nothing has changed that. She shouldn't have taken away my insulin. I don't trust my diabetic care with Optum anymore and asked for a referral to someone more knowledgeable in that area.
