I have recommended her to others. She is kind and really listens. I like that she doesn't try to push medications, but recommends life-style changes and alternative methods of helping with problems.

Because I think she tries hard to communicate your test results and I think that she has to get to know you and what you want out of your health care some times there can be some occasional misunderstanding when she is going over your test results but there has to be communication on both the patient and the Dr. for understanding but she tries hard and is dedicated to give you the very best care that is possible. Plus she is good about working with me on new meds my tolerance of it and the costs. I appreciate that very much. She always ask if I need new refills on meds.

Dr. Taylor is fine, this visit, which was for an annual check-up, I did have a few questions and she asked me to sit on the exam bench. I stated I had a couple of more questions, she immediately stated that is not part of the annual exam and motioned to me to get on the exam bench. This was uncomfortable for me, because I did not see any reason why I could not ask a couple of questions and obtain my answers. The thought became are you attempting to have a patient schedule another visit for the questions and thus that is another fee to bill to insurance. Also, there have been numerous issues in getting referrals process. There was no apology or statement the office will check into that issue with the referral department. The blame was totally shifted to that department, stating there are only three people in that area and they have be slammed with processing referrals. That may have been the case, but when a patient is needing to obtain the referral and see the specialist etc that is what is important and the office could have made an inquiry of that department. The other concern, in order to obtain a referral, she requires that you make an appointment and come in and speak with her. I have some specific feelings about that especially if I have seen you within the last 30-45 days and some issues were discussed. Again, that could give the impression this is done just to charge another office visit fee.

She is knowledgeable, thorough, kind, and explains everything well. I feel she is an excellent, competent doctor, who cares about her patients and listens to them.

She is a good listener and sndwers my questions. She is pleasant and friendly, not a rushed attitude at all.

She has given me the wrong medication multiple times. The first time I had to call the office TWICE because she prescribed the wrong GLP. I recently was prescribed Lexapro and she knows I am also taking cyclobenzaprine. I brought up that I have anxiety and asked if I should go to a psychiatrist or if going through her is an option and she was able to do so. I have told her I have a history with serotonin syndrome and asked if sertraline (the original medication she wanted to give me) was an okay option with the muscle relaxer. That’s when she decided to look it up and told me I was right. That’s when she decided to prescribe Lexapro. I looked online about this medication and seen the risks & side effects, with one of them being serotonin syndrome. I went to my neurologist (who prescribes the muscle relaxer) and confirmed that I should not be taking those together. I no longer trust this doctor and want a new one.

To be honest, the only reason I stay with Optum is because of Dr. Taylor. She is knowledgeable, patient, thorough and I trust her to treat my health regimen. Otherwise, I think Optum is a shell of the former Warner Family Practice. Most of the offices are empty, the staff is cut back, there are no snacks for patients who have fasted, the place feels unhappy. If it were not for Dr. Taylor, I'd find some place else.
