She is knowledgeable, thorough, kind, and explains everything well. I feel she is an excellent, competent doctor, who cares about her patients and listens to them.

She has given me the wrong medication multiple times. The first time I had to call the office TWICE because she prescribed the wrong GLP. I recently was prescribed Lexapro and she knows I am also taking cyclobenzaprine. I brought up that I have anxiety and asked if I should go to a psychiatrist or if going through her is an option and she was able to do so. I have told her I have a history with serotonin syndrome and asked if sertraline (the original medication she wanted to give me) was an okay option with the muscle relaxer. That’s when she decided to look it up and told me I was right. That’s when she decided to prescribe Lexapro. I looked online about this medication and seen the risks & side effects, with one of them being serotonin syndrome. I went to my neurologist (who prescribes the muscle relaxer) and confirmed that I should not be taking those together. I no longer trust this doctor and want a new one.

To be honest, the only reason I stay with Optum is because of Dr. Taylor. She is knowledgeable, patient, thorough and I trust her to treat my health regimen. Otherwise, I think Optum is a shell of the former Warner Family Practice. Most of the offices are empty, the staff is cut back, there are no snacks for patients who have fasted, the place feels unhappy. If it were not for Dr. Taylor, I'd find some place else.

Again, she did not return my messages for FIVE days after a cancer diagnosis appeared in my portal. Then when I got in to see her she gave me information on the wrong kind of cancer.

Dr. Taylor on my initial visit was attentive and seems to acknowledge my dilemma with high blood pressure and my physical health. I just hope she appreciate the full difficulty of my dilemma.

This is probably an unfair rating. Dr. Taylor seems like a competent doctor. My impression is that the constraints of the practice she's working within prevent her from providing adequate attention to her patients.
