He’s an amazing smart doctor! After months of my husband having severe shingles he gave him a prescription for a cream that finally worked. He explains everything about the pain my husband is having and what the new medication should do! ITS WORKING AND THAT MEANS SO MUCH!!!

I think he knows what he's talking about, but he's very loud, doesn't let me get a word in edgeways, and I specifically set up an appointment with him to discuss a concerning condition which required a four-month wait, and he simply dismissed it as stress without actually looking at it. Very disappointed in that.

Ken Alpern, MD, is board certified in dermatology. Dr. Alpern earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch School of Medicine in Galveston. He completed his internship at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond and his residency at the UC Irvine Medical Center. In his spare time, Dr. Alpern is passionate about public tr ansportation and has served as chairman of the Friends of the Metro Green Line in the Los Angeles area.Gender
