IA delivers process efficiencies

Intelligent automation increased the throughput of the retro case developer (RCD) process. It does this by reducing processing time, which allows resources to be available for other high-value tasks.

The RCD process involved 60 FTEs performing case setup in the payment integrity case tracking systems (PICTS). It involved collating data from the national provider database and several spreadsheets, and consolidating and loading into the PICTS database. 

The entire automated solution delivered over a 16-week period reduced subprocesses and systems through product reengineering. The processing time decreased by an average of 113 minutes per record. Watch the video to learn more about the benefits of IA.
