Sofia Vaisman, MD

Sofia Vaisman, MD, practices family medicine. Dr. Vaisman earned her medical degree from the State Medical and Pharmaceutical University in the Republic of Moldova in Romania. She completed her residency at the Second City Hospital in Romania. She also completed a fellowship in surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Dr. Vaisman comes from a family of physicians. Her mother, husband, and both sons are doctors. As a child, she admired her mother for helping patients in her community. Dr. Vaisman is noted for her compassion and strong listening skills. She also spends a great deal of time with her patients. In her spare time, Dr. Vaisman enjoys dancing, walking, cooking, and spending time with her family. In addition to English, she speaks and understands Spanish and Romanian.
