This Dr has been the most compassionate, empathetic, great listener and caring Dr Shannon. She is as just or more competent than a P/A! At first when meeting her, last year I was skeptical. Dr Shannon would ask me health questions relating my age and what needed to be done regarding my health. Then with more appointments to see her I started to open myself to her in letting her know what was going on with me at the time and also presently. She made feel comfortable and easy to express to her what was going on with me and without doubt she set me up to see specialist. From then on I did not get worried. I felt free to tell her my symptoms and she with all the concern for me she would go over and beyond to research to see what was that and who I needed to see. This Dr. has made me believe in myself in reaching my goals and in a journey to great health. I am grateful for her and Optum.
