LINDA: Optum Pharmacy is the only one that I've ever seen that focuses on quality of life. They want to heal you, they want to take care of you. They're my angels. My name is Linda, and I have progressed with neuropathy in my feet and rheumatoid in my body.

SIERRA: How are you?

LINDA: Hello.

SIERRA: Linda is one of my favorite patients. I see her about every three weeks for her IVIG. IVIG helps for her neuropathy. It also helps with her RA, kind of just helps swelling with the inflammation. IVIG infusions are typically four plus hours, so you're in a patient's home for a long time.

LINDA: With the IVIG, I have a much better chance to have a functional, normal life. Nurses are a large part of that. Optum is a huge part of that. I think that they have put together a group that really knows what patients really need.

SIERRA: We're running. That's it. You're free. She's super mobile during her infusion, so she's in her kitchen, she's in her room doing stuff. She's kind of walking around taking care of what she needs to.

MALE: Twenty-five, 28.

SIERRA: Then after lunch, we will sit and we'll play cribbage for a few hours.

LINDA: That's the best time of the day.

SIERRA: I like to include her parents in it too, and we get extremely competitive.

LINDA: We love her like family. She's our family.

SIERRA: I do this work because I love being a patient advocate and I love being a patient support. We genuinely care.
