When I presented to her with a loss of taste and smell AFTER COVID was declared over and informing her that I had tested negative for COVID, I explained that I had experienced a nasal drip for almost 6 straight hours which then resulted in my condition. Her first suggestion was a possible brain tumor and she wanted to send time for tests to rule that out rather than referring me for a consultation with an ENT. I refused her recommendation and insisted on an ENT referral. In the end, I was absolutely correct.
