She lied on her notes in my after visit summary. She said she spent 30 minutes speaking to me when we spent no more than 10 minutes, maybe even 5 discussing my health.

Dr Sams is compassionate and a good listener. She provides lots of support for patients dealing with diabetes, which puts a lot of burden on patients for self-care. She's an important part of the care team patients need to build for themselves to stay healthy.

I don't tjink she listened to me. She was very clinical. I felt like she treated my situation based on statistics and had no sense of urgency for my needed biopsy. On the other hand, she did take time to thoroughly explain my health issue to me. She was polite. But she made me feel that my issue was normal. Said everyone has thyroid nodules but just don't know. I'm only needing a biopsy because of the size of my nodule. Basically dismissed that it could be cancer because the chances are low. I didn't feel seen.
