Dr. Aziz is the BEST!!! He listens, communicates with care and compassion, and engenders trust. That ability to trust has made a world of difference in my care. My fears, based on my mother's journey dealing with RA, were shared with him and he assured me her experience did not have to be my experience. I trusted his care plan for me and I went from an inflamed mass of pain to forgetting I have RA most days (when I need to take my maintenance medications). I had a bout of scleritis that was frightening to see. Dr Aziz made my referral and worked marvelously with the UCLA specialist in this condition, as well as the eyecare team at Markman & Wolstan. The scleritis was difficult to get under control, but their collaboration was awesome. Teamwork turned my nightmare into a dream and made the dream work. I am so grateful for Dr. Aziz. The contract with UCLA and Markman & Wolstan was not renewed and I will start with a new eye doctor soon, but I have no doubt that Dr. Aziz will continue to navigate my collaborative care with the same level of excellence.
