This doctor is one of the worst doctors and worst professionals I have ever seen in my whole life. First off the staff was very nice and I will give them credit for that but once they took me back, I waited for whole hour until the doctor to come in. Once she came in, she looked at my labs that a previous doctor had written up and she pulls up a pamphlet and starts describing what the labs meant. After explaining she said that there’s nothing that can be done for my condition or to support my thyroid, which is completely untrue. She then told me that she would be happy to find me another provider because she doesn’t think that our relationship would work out. When I told her that she did not even ask me my symptoms she said yes I did which was a lie because when she walked in, she sat down and immediately started explaining what was going on. I asked how she would know that nothing is related to my thyroid if she does not even know my symptoms and she completely dismissed me. When I asked her how I can support my thyroid, she dismissed me again and she told me that there’s nothing that can be done and that the labs will fluctuate then she told me that I was being aggressive and rude, and at which point she told me that she cannot have a working relationship with me, so I walked out of the office. That was the most disrespected I have ever felt from a healthcare professional, and she should not be a doctor. Also not to mention she spent maybe 5-8 min explaining the pamphlet and then told me “I just spent so much time explaining and it seems like you are still not understanding”

She did not make eye contact just typed throughout the whole visit. She was 50 minutes late. Her notes she took during the visit include incorrect information (shows up in the app). Complete lack of compassion or empathy.

As a type I diabetic, I expect more checking. She never checked my feet but referred me to a podiatrist. I don’t need another specialist copay when the Endo usually handles it. However, she is very knowledgeable about insulin pumps and CGM sensors and does a good job of managing those for me.

While the visit began cordially, the tone shifted significantly when Virginia requested to continue with Armour Thyroid, a medication she has successfully taken for over 60 years. Rather than engaging in a collaborative discussion about her long-term treatment history or exploring alternative options, Dr. Imtiaz declined to consider her request and referred her to another endocrinologist. This approach left Virginia feeling dismissed and frustrated, as her extensive history with this medication was not acknowledged or respected.Patients deserve to have their concerns heard and their treatment preferences discussed openly, especially when those preferences are rooted in decades of successful management. The absence of dialogue in this case reflects poor bedside manner and undermines the trust that is essential in the patient–physician relationship. For a patient of her age and with her established regimen, this type of interaction can feel unnecessarily dismissive and disempowering.
