She’s almost always late. I’m waiting between 10 minutes to 30’ before she comes in. (I was on time. The last time I asked about how many blood clots and where in my body and how long I might have to take blood thinners. She rattled off a bunch of medical jargon I couldn’t understand. She never answered my questions to my satisfactions. She has set up referrals or lab work without informing me she’s going to do so ( during my visit. My visits are so short and rushed. I don’t get to always cover more than one or two issues concerning my health. I have already switched doctors. I expect better results. I don’t know if you all are pushing Doctor Pop and other doctors too hard to be so damn efficient that you are losing the most important part; the relationship with the patient. You charge so much money for so little time. It’s too rushed. It’s too complicated. Every time I turn around most everyone wants me to take more of my time to give a survey about how you did. Stop it. I’m sick of it. Try maybe once every 6 months or once a year. You are overloading the doctors and patients with two much information, too many trips to specialists, too much driving all over the place for referrals. I may go back to Kaiser because I’m tired of spending my time and gas money driving to different cities (very few close) to take care of my medical needs. Lastly. I want my doctor or assistants to tell me how much something is going to cost me. Why do I have to contact the pharmacist or be surprised; at the last minute or get hit with outlandish prices. There’s Medicare, Medi-Cal, Medicade. There are so many Insurance plans; each controlling what can and cant be done. There are different medical groups; each with there own way of doing things and different places to go for referrals. There is little transparency. The diagnoses and paperwork or online stuff; where there is a different user name and password for each one (and there are a lot). Just the medical side alone is too convoluted and complex. Simple is better. You all push drugs and high prices more than prevention and more natural methods. For all our modern technology; things aren’t simple and easy to deal with. I don’t know what is legitimate or what is a scam anymore; especially with online stuff. We sign off on conditions for privacy etc. that are 5-30 pages of reading. You have made things so overwhelming and complex. I’m not feeling more secure about my privacy. Overall the whole medical thing has become a burden and like a part time job. I’m not expecting it to ever happen, but Simpler is better. I hate AI. I can’t even get through; on the phone; half the time. Optum is good, but most others I get put on hold, or AI indicates I will be called back. Either way, the call back fails. AI doesn’t process anything other than simple, pre-programmed responses. 90% of the time AI is worthless and not helpful to me.

1) I don’t like waiting a long time; in the exam room, after they put me in there, after the assistant leaves. It happens too often. 2) Most of the time the appointment, or time with the doctor; to go over everything, feels too rushed. I don’t like that. Otherwise; (whether we agree or not), I trust Doctor Pop to be a good doctor. I do listen.

As a new patient I felt she took time to get to know me and my health issues. She asked me to keep a record of my breathing issue to report back on my next visit.
