He truly care his patients and easy to discuss your health problems

Very caring and thorough in going over medical details, but he is so busy talking about his personal religious or spiritual beliefs that he missed a big health concern of mine. First, he blew off complaints of coughing and shortness of breath as just my allergies. Then he wanted to send me to an endocrinologist regarding my difficulties using statin drugs. I asked for a cardiologist referral instead. It took another appointment with another provider to get a preliminary EKG and cardiology referral. The cardiologist will now run tests. N

Dr Alix is a nice enough guy, but likely overworked and distracted. He is squeamish about talking about things like STDs. He once stated that he assumed all his patients were liars, and insisted on listing me as a former smoker, which is in fact a lie. Optum at our location is a revolving door for doctors, they almost always migrate to Orange County. It is nice that he has stuck around as long as he has (more than 2 years).
