Dr Maganis is a great doctor, very compassionate about caring about his patients.

Had a telemed visit. Was very pleased with it. He was present, listened, provided a treatment plan. All good. My disappointment was later. After an x-ray, I got an email that said x-ray was normal. That was it. No follow-up suggested. Makes me realize I am just another senior on Medicare and have to advocate for myself. I still don't feel well, but the office did not bother to ask.

When he receives messages, he responds quickly. His referrals get processed quickly. His advice seems to always be on target.

Dr. Maganis is very thorough in explaining my test results and listens to issues that I raise to him and addresses them accordingly. A very caring doctor.

He had all of my past history and seemed knowledgeable. Very personable.

While friendly and encouraging, I was disappointed at my last visit on [omitted]. I needed clearance for an upcoming surgery. I expected for him toy know what I need because I was assured that orders were sent from the surgeon. He said he didn't know what I needed. I learned from talking to the surgeon's office that I needed an EKG, labs, and exam. <I attempted to return to have Dr. complete these requirements. No appointments were available. They told me to go to an urgent care for the tests. The office staff provided me with a copy of my surgeon's orders that were in my chart since [omitted]!> Two urgent cares, and four hours later, I procured my clearance papers at an urgent care. I was not happy about being at an urgent care as I am avoiding sick people pre-surgery. I shouldnt have had to make numerous calls, drive around, facilitate every step, and be at risk for infection at urgent care. It was a miserable, stressful mess because the doc didn't look for the preop orders already in my chart as I sat before him. I hope this won't happen to anyone else.

Yes. Dr Maganis is a caring doctor, taking time with my questions and concerns.

He seemed OK, but there was no introduction or acknowledgement that he was new, no statement about whether he was now my new primary care person. Also, he wore a mask the entire (short) visit. Very impersonal!

Listens to medical complaints and makes recommendations. If no improvement, he will give a referral without dragging things out for months.

Dr. Maganis paid close attention to my concerns and questions. He has a warm and caring bedside manner. He went to Cal Berkeley (Go Bears!)

I have had worse doctors. Though I don't feel he listened completely to what I was saying. Seemed like he made an opinion without really understanding thoroughly.
