He is thorough, caring and helpful. He orders necessary tests and follows his patients closely. He gives good advise. If he receives your messages in the portal he is responsive. It has become difficult to reach the Redondo Beach office/ Recently my computer was down so I couldn't use the portal. I tried to call the office and it rolled over to the Optum general customer service line. They didn't properly give my question to the doctor. it was resolved a few days later when I could reach him thru the portal. If one is happy with Optum overall there is no better doctor anywhere than Dr. Jimmy Truong.

Jimmy Truong, MD, is board certified in family medicine. Dr. Truong earned his medical degree from American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine Netherlands Antilles in Sint Maarten. He completed his internship and his residency at Riverside County Regional Medical Center in California. Dr. Truong strives to educate his patients and invol ve them in decision-making so that together they can focus on preventive health care. When he's not caring for his patients, Dr. Truong enjoys traveling, watching his favorite movies and swimming.Gender
